The Accounts Payable Associate is a position centered on taking control and ownership of the entire accounts payable process for both hotels at Lore Group Amsterdam.

The primary goal of this position is to carry out the account payable process as efficiently, timely, correctly and completely as possible. This includes the correct checking and booking of invoices and PO’s. The payment and reconciliation of invoices. Managing supplier relations and internal communications within the department and with other departments. Performing and assisting with periodic closings and reports (monthly and annually). Keeping an up to date and well maintained ageing, and generally assisting the Finance Lead and Managers when directed.

The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for preparing month end accruals and delivering other variables to the Finance Managers at month-end. It is also asked that all members of the finance team are constantly looking for areas of improvement in their own and other departmental processes and systems.

The finance team is in constant contact with all other departments in the hotel, as such, we’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable manner, and the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
