Wat ga je doen? 

Als portier ben jij het eerste aanspreekpunt voor onze gasten en het gezicht van ons hotel. Je verwelkomt iedereen met een warme glimlach en biedt hulp waar dat nodig is, of het nu gaat om het dragen van bagage, de auto parkeren of het meelopen naar de receptie of een andere ruimte in het hotel. Het vermogen om een glimlach op het gezicht van onze gasten te toveren, is een onmisbare vaardigheid. Daarnaast zullen veel gasten vragen hebben over de stad Amsterdam en over het hotel zelf. Jouw uitgebreide kennis over de stad en de voorzieningen van het hotel zorgt ervoor dat je onze gasten altijd van nuttige en accurate informatie kunt voorzien, waardoor hun verblijf nog aangenamer wordt. Tevens heb je een oog voor veiligheid en detail.

In het voormalige Scheepvaarthuis van Amsterdam is nu één van de meest iconische vijfsterren-hotels van Amsterdam gevestigd, Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. Het hotel beschikt over 205 luxe kamers, waarvan 22 suites, 8 vergader- en evenementen zalen, Bar Lounge en een Spa & Wellness centre. Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam ligt op slechts 500 meter van het Centraal Station, is goed bereikbaar vanaf de snelweg.

What will you be doing?  

As a doorman, you are the first point of contact for our guests and the face of our hotel. You welcome everyone with a warm smile and offer help where needed, whether it is carrying luggage, parking the car or walking to the reception or another area in the hotel. The ability to put a smile on the faces of our guests is an indispensable skill. In addition, many guests will have questions about the city of Amsterdam and the hotel itself. Your extensive knowledge of the city and the hotel's facilities ensures that you can always provide our guests with useful and accurate information, making their stay even more pleasant. You also have an eye for safety and detail.

In the former Shipping House of Amsterdam, you’ll find one of the city’s most iconic five-star hotels: Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center.
