We reserve a workplace for you in our modern office in the Sugar Silos in Halfweg. A
relaxed working environment where you will work with a lot of freedom and
responsibilities. In September 2022, we will move back to our renovated office on the
Herengracht in the heart of Amsterdam. We expect that by then we still work in a
hybrid manner, partly from home and partly in the office.

Who are we looking for?
You are an experienced product owner who loves to work with digital and
customer-facing products. You like to take initiatives to get things done, enjoy
collaborating with colleagues across departments and are looking for a challenge to
make an impact within a scale-up environment.

What are you going to do?

As a Product Owner, you will work together with two cross-functional development
teams to optimize our website to meet the goals from both a business and customer
perspective. The two development teams are owning the onsite customer journey,
and you will collaborate closely within the Product department to ensure alignment
with the overall platform.

You will set the direction for the website which is aligned with the overall product
vision. You will define a roadmap for your teams and translate the roadmap into
epics and user stories. You will also set the priority of these stories on the product
backlog with the goal of ensuring a successful release schedule.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, such as Marketing,
Customer Service and Supply, to ensure that your teams deliver business-critical
functionality. Additionally, you will collaborate with Product Designers, Analysts and
Content Marketeers to shape the product in the right direction and to make your
decisions based on data and customer insights.

The Product department has the aim to work with a strong agile mindset. We are
focused on data driven decision making, high quality, quick feedback cycles and
always putting the customer first! You will play a key role in advocating this mindset
within the team and wider organization.

What are we asking?

• 5+ years of related work experience
• A related degree is preferred but not required
• Experience with optimizing high traffic websites (preferably in the travel industry)
• Experience with agile and scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of frontend software languages
• Knowledge of User Experience and Conversion Rate Optimization
• Great interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• A commercial and data driven mindset
